Atheist’s five-year-old daughter is on her deathbed and asks, “Will I go to Heaven when I die?”

“A man rejects God neither because of intellectual demands nor because of the scarcity of evidence. A man rejects God because of a moral resistance that refuses to admit his need for God”. Ravi Zacharias

This question will be addressed from a theistic world view. The atheist will do what he or she knows best. Speak only about the natural world and try to comfort the little girl during her passing. Sadly, even the little Girl knows that her forthcoming death could not be the end of it all. But the atheist chooses to believe it all meant nothing because he is locked in by his world view. The atheist may out of emotions comfort with words, but it will have no eternal value to the little girl. If he remains true to his worldview and belief, his daughter’s passing will just another passing away of matter. Sad but in the absence of God, death or life has no meaning.

Most atheist commentary on this question may follow another pattern if bereft of filial attachment – they will make mockery of the questioner and never really answer the questions. They will have fun commenting and lashing out at the ‘perceived stupidity’ of the questioner. This is the same method the brilliant evolutionary biologist, Richard Dawkins applies. Unfortunately, there responses always show that they have refused to look at the available data concerning Christianity and the case for the Christian God in particular.

No atheist can prove the absence of the Christian God. No Religious person can prove physically the presence of God. This is because any Creator will be outside the scope of the created beings means of proof. It would be tantamount to asking a Telstar model S to prove the existence of Elon Musk. The Christian God cannot be put in a lab. Proving the existence God with human parameters is akin to Hamlet’s awareness and proof of the existence of William Shakespeare. The only way Hamlet would know of Shakespeare’s existence will be if Shakespeare left crumbs of information about himself in the play for Hamlet, Ophelia, and Gertrude to see (assuming they could be brought to life).

But fortunately for us the Christian God is not limited. He once walked this earth and has promised to comeback and show Himself in His glory. Who is willing to wait till then? for us the Creator did so. Just to run you through few:

1. The universe had a beginning (Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 1:10-12). Starting with the studies of Albert Einstein in the early 1900s and continuing today, science has confirmed the biblical view that the universe had a beginning. When the Bible was written most people believed the universe was eternal. Science has proven them wrong, but the Bible correct.

2. World-wide economy and a common payment system was spoken of in the Bible more than two thousand years ago by ‘scientifically’ ignorant men – Revelation 13:17. Today, we are there.

3. God created one man and one woman from where all men came from – Today science agrees. Proving the Bible again. The jury is still out for the scientist on how old this woman was and if this woman was human.

4. Our bodies are made from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7; Genesis 3:19). Scientists have discovered that the human body is comprised of some 28 base and trace elements – all of which are found in the earth.

5. Creation is made of particles, indiscernible to our eyes (Hebrews 11:3). Not until the 19th century was it discovered that all visible matter consists of invisible elements.

6. The bible prophesied years ago that two witnesses will be killed in Jerusalem and the entire world will see it – Revelation 11:8-10 (NIV). This was before CNN, Internet, and mobile phones.

7. Millions of people are getting miraculously healed of ailments that dumbfound doctors in our time through Prayer to Jesus.

8. Jesus is appearing to Muslims in the Middle East and they are getting converted in their thousand.

A book written hundreds of years ago by statesmen, Kings, military generals, A doctor, prophets, fishermen, tax collector, and more that contains this much information and more should be taken seriously. The problem with atheism is that it has never coherently proven its case based on origin, morality, destiny and meaning.

Given the amount of historical and archeological data available today about the person of Jesus, his life, death, burial, and resurrection it is astonishing that people just regurgitate age old positions of the absence of God and justify their positions with lies, half-trust, obfuscations, and insults.

Amazingly, that which seems difficult to grasp about God is available to billions of people and they recognize and choose it. Unfortunately, the atheist position remains a futile one. Atheists are ever searching and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. Sadly, that which they all seek has been prophesied already in the Bible – eternal freedom from the God they think does not exist.

But there is always another way. Forget the university induced hatred for a personal God. Forget the group think and pick-up materials about the man called Jesus Christ. The depth of information available will stagger those that are willing. Information that will demonstrate that logic is not the end of all intelligence, and there is a world out there that is outside the realms of what people think they know. Hopefully, the data will be evaluated, and well-known diatribes and insults will not be hurled at those across the divide.

Can a software abstraction know and prove the existence of its programmer without the help of the programmer?
