Online Christian resources have increased over the years in number and improved in depth. But are they all relevant to you or present you with fit for purpose tools? Do they all pass the test for sound dissemination of Christian doctrine? Depending on which side of true Christianity that you fall, you will find these resources useful for improving your daily faith work or expanding your knowledge. So here are my top ten.

1. Biblegateway.com One of the most reliable and free sources for several Bible translations, study tools, maps, audio-video materials and many more. You can pull up multiple Bible translations and study them comparatively online. There are excellent Christian articles on BibleGateway blog from diverse Christian writers. The most magnificent aspect of it all is that they are mostly free. Of cause the paid subscription is even much better. I encourage you to subscribe. They have mobile apps for IOS and Google play stop that can be used even when off the grid.

 

2. Rhapsodyofrealities.org Rhapsody of realities is the world’s number one daily devotional. Currently distributed on all continents and territories. Now in its 20th year, Rhapsody of realities is distributed in more than one thousand five hundred languages of the world. The articles in this daily devotional has transformed lives, restored families, delivered and brought many into their inheritance in Christ by the power of the word of God. The devotional comes with daily articles that present the undiluted word of God concisely while presenting their freshness and the power therein. You can get free digital copies in any language as well as download the mobile app in English from google play store. (this link works only on mobile phones)

Reasonablefaith.org Reasonablefaith.org contain an excellent collection of articles, videos, and materials by the renowned Christian Apologist – Dr. Willian Lane Craig (author of On Guard: Defending Your Faith with Reason and Precision). This resource will help you fill your knowledge gap on subjects like “who created God?”, “Historical Jesus, Science and technology”, “Creation vs Evolution”, “Why evil in the world?” among many others. You can sign up to his newsletter to receive update information about his next speaking location or latest articles on specific subjects of interest. Here is where the tough philosophical questions are answered. Combine this with Dr. Ravi Zacharia materials (author: Jesus among other Gods) and you should be ready to give a solid defense about what you believe.

4. Biblehub.com Biblehub provides an excellent bouquet of in-depth Bible study tools. Are you interested in knowing the original Greek, Hebrew or Aramaic words used when writing Bible manuscripts and their Strong interpretations, synonyms, commentaries etc.? Then this is the place for you. This free online resource is undeniable the most in-depth bible study tool that brings the bible study closer to the original works of the Bible sages of old. Due to its vast collection it requires some effort to understand how to navigate the it but thrust me, withing a few minutes you should be able to know your way around and reap its benefits.

5. Pastorchrisdigitallibrary.org  and PCDL.tv. Pastor Chris Oyakghilome’s digital library is a tool for all serious Christian who desire to walk with the Father in wisdom and truth. Pastor Chris Oyakilome’s is the Pastor of the fastest growing global Christian network that spans continents, campuses and is the facilitator of the ever-glorious Healing School ministry that has touched lives all around the world.  He is the author of among several other books like The power of your mind, How to pray effectively and The power of tongues. The audio/video messages on this platform has transformed many lives. You can download the app on Play store (works better on android phones) or Apple play store.  While it is a subscription-based service, there are lots of freebies, promotions and very generous subscription options.

6. Rightnowmedia Rightmedia’s goal is to “serve the church and provide Christians across the globe with resources that will inspire them to champion the mission Jesus gave to his people—making disciples of all nations.” It is a one stop library of video materials for every Christian (child, youth, adult) seeking knowledge on diverse Christian subjects from motherhood to evangelism and everything in between. If you learn better with visual tools, then this is the place for you. You can join Rightmedia using your Church or organizations subscriptions. Proviso: there are divers authors with varied views on Christian subjects. You may have to carefully plan your study and research the authors background and opinions in advance to really benefit from the study programs.



7. Pastorchrisonline Q&A This is a site filled with hundreds of diverse question and answer videos about topics in Christianity. They concise yet highly informative. I do not hesitate to recommend it for those who want to know exactly what the Bible says on everyday subjects like divine healing and health, prosperity and finance, prayer, salvation, and the Holy Spirit.

8. Superbookacademy Here is one for the kids and youths that may keep them off Netflix. Superbookacademy presents animated Bible study courses for kids, youths and even adults. This paid resource deliver HD animated video course that ultimate will save kids from the negative effects of being constantly bombarded with negative information, cartoons, and adverts. Each of the courses come with clear teacher instructions, quizzes, Bible memory verses and ample activities, games, and beautifully designed printable materials. Bottomline it is an extremely useful Bible study tool for kids especially now that churches no longer hold services on-site due to government regulations regarding COVID-19. The collection is limited and more suitable for small groups and church organization. However, there content is well structured and produced.  Do not hesitate to also see what is available on Pureflix.  

9. Churchsource.com This is a one stop online shop for Christian materials especially for those living in North America. Their products are suitable for clergy, academics, and the average follower of Christ. They stock a wide variety of materials from popular Christian authors and offer discounts on materials and shipping from time to time. Their advantage over Amazon in my opinion is that they deal solely on Christian materials. If your love materials from Zondervan and Thomas Nelson publishers, then this is the place for you.

10. Project Gutenberg is not a Christian website. This is one reason I placed it at number ten. However, make no mistake about its value to the keen Christian researcher interested in reading older books (mostly published before 1924). This is a library of over 60,000 free eBooks in epub pdf, and Kindle eBooks formats. You can download them or read them online. You will find great vintage Christian literature from A.W Tozer (author: The Root of the Righteous), G.K Chesterton (author: Orthodoxy) and many more. It is a free resource. You may download some of the books to your reading device for an improved reading experience.

11. HealingStreams is an online healing and miracle channel that creates an atmosphere for faith and the miraculous, such that our viewers take a hold of God’s plan for divine healing and health. Thousands around the world have participated in he Live program hosted by Pastor Chris and their testimonies of healing and salvation can be viewed on this website.
